Stuck on Success...

Paradise Elementary students went above and beyond in this year’s Kids Heart Challenge, raising $7,468—surpassing their $6,500 goal!

To celebrate, students who donated got the chance to duct tape their P.E. teacher, Mrs. Vicki Bortner, to the wall—and see if she sticks! The entire school joined the fun during a special assembly, where top fundraisers also got their picture taken with their (very taped-up) teacher.

Since 2003, Paradise Elementary School has raised over $100,000 for the American Heart Association through this challenge. The funds support heart disease research, education, and advocacy, helping save lives across the country.

The Kids Heart Challenge encourages students to stay active, learn about heart health, and give back to their community. Paradise Elementary’s students took that challenge to heart—literally!

Great job, Paradise Rockets!
