SGASD Receives Generous Donation from GIANT to Support Student Nutrition

Spring Grove Area School District (SGASD) is proud to announce the receipt of a generous $2,534.16 donation from GIANT to help combat childhood hunger. This contribution is part of GIANT’s initiative to support local schools and ensure students have access to the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

The funds were raised through the Round-Up at the Register program, where community members had the option to round up their grocery totals to the nearest dollar. Every small contribution added up to make a big impact, and SGASD is incredibly grateful to both GIANT and the many individuals who chose to support the cause.

Access to healthy meals is critical to student success, and this donation will help provide resources to ensure that no child goes without the food they need during the school day.
