Spring Grove Students Shine at Hanover Gymnastics

The Hanover Gymnastics team, comprising nearly thirty talented gymnasts from various schools within the Spring Grove Area Schook District, has seen significant growth. This year’s team has nearly doubled in size compared to the fifteen gymnasts from last year and tripled from the ten gymnasts in 2022.

The girls' team showcased their skills at multiple competitions this season. Hanover Gymnastics hosted the season’s first meet, the Tim Weaver Invitational, featuring both the boys' and girls' teams. Subsequently, the gymnasts competed at various prestigious events, including the Liberty Cup, Katie Baldwin Invitational, Centre Elite Classic, Hill’s MD Classic, Flipping with the Stars, Hugs and Kisses, WinWin Classic, Temple Invite, Frederick Classic, Golden Rams, and Handspring for Hope. The boys' team also had an impressive season, competing at the Tim Weaver Invitational and continuing their journey at the Jose Strong Classic, Centre Elite Classic, Sportsplex Team Classic, Brian Babcock, United Challenge, and Fred Turoff.

Both teams concluded their seasons by participating in their respective Pennsylvania State Championships. Additionally, several higher-level gymnasts qualified for Region 7 Regionals, with aspirations to advance to the Eastern Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.
